Special Education / Remediation
Special Education is a form of learning provided to students with exceptional needs, such as students with learning disabilities or mental challenges. An example of special education is the type of reading help that is provided to a student who is dyslexic.
Special education also known as special needs education, is the practice of educating students with an IEP in a way that addresses their individual differences and needs. Ideally, this process involves the individually planned and systematically monitored arrangement of teaching procedures, adapted equipment and materials, and accessible settings. These interventions are designed to help individuals with special needs achieve a higher level of personal self-sufficiency and success in school and in their community which may not be available if the student were only given access to a typical classroom education.
We at MHS, in collaboration with MDA - Madras Dyslexic Association , offer a conducive and necessary environment for those children with Specific Learning Disability ( Dyslexia) to overcome their difficulty. One to one attention is given by a trained special educator with Individualised Educational Plan and Unique Lesson Plan .
Each and every step of the child's progress is monitored very closely and all the required inputs are provided to the child to overcome the learning disability at ease with time and age appropriate counselling. Constant and Systematic follow up by our knowledge partner MDA adds more value and quality to the service rendered and the outcome as well.
